? Manage operational purchasing from E2E vendors, IT hardware/services, software/ licenses, professional services, (obtaining, evaluation and negotiation of offers, RfX), art buying (images, soundtracks, filters).

? SPOC of the product groups, cooperation with stakeholders (legal, compliance, corporate security, IT, requestors, accounting and interface with IBM procurement).

? Ensure all procurement complies with IBM rules, guidelines.

? Identify and assess suppliers, negotiate contracts.

? Request and negotiate offers (RfX), process and orders.

? Supplier management, market analysis.

? Use SSPA, TPSRM, SOW for optimization of supplier base and minimize risk.

? Advise stakeholders in the context of procurement projects / clarify purchasing strategies.

? Analysis/ optimization of procurement processes.

? Compliance support in testing purchasing processes, coordinating large orders).

? Align with new compliance for procurement process with IBM parent company.

? Ensure supplier onboarding process follows the required documentation and process.

? Ensure a Source Selection (SS) and Fair Value Determination (FVD) is carried out.

? Ensure privacy and security principles are followed by suppliers.



Achievements at IBM iX

? Optimized various procurement processes to reduce the throughput time process and lower process costs.

? Developed decision templates for supplier selection, qualification and development on the basis of technological, qualitative and commercial aspects.

? Supplier consolidation led to reduction of ~600 contracts, resulting in cost savings, increased efficiency, improved quality, and reduced risk.

? As part of the change of company name in 2022, effectively handled supplier communication and transfer of existing supplier contracts into the IBM iX DACH organization (~450 contracts).

? Reorganized product groups - "Freelancer/Services" and "Training" with the aim of having fewer suppliers with a broad range of services (bundling of volumes, reduction of purchase prices), led to ~90% of requirements being purchased directly on optimized supplier base.

? Part of the team for SAP implementation in procurement - assisted in the migration/ planning.
