  • Main goal was to compare head-to-head different features used for e.g. risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, monitoring, reporting etc. In addition, I analyzed, evaluated and reviewed these systems from an UI/UX point of view.
  • All gathered insights have been presented in a detailed report which was used by the contractor for the development of a new, modern, user-friendly and competitive software.

  • MDF Web component – Data browser (extension to the MDF project) – The overall objective of this component was to design, develop and implement a user-friendly public finance web application that is based on the Macroeconomic Data Framework.
  • The MDF browser offers basic functionalities for less demanding users who need to access and get informed about recent and historical budget execution trends.
  • Most existing predefined reports and analytical views have been transferred to this web application.
  • It further offers also the possibility of the creation of ad-hoc analytics. One of the many consolidated data sources is based on data from the SAP financial management information system.
  • Several security levels that define the roles for each user and organisation have also been incorporated.
  • My assignment was to analysis the existing user requirements and the AS-IS situation of the MDF.
  • Further assignment was to communicate and transfers gained business knowledge and expertise from the MDF (budgeting processes, budget reporting needs etc.) to the development team.
  • I was deeply involved in defining technical requirements, design and implementation of the solution as well as creating predefined financial and statistical reports and analysis according to existing end user requirements.

  • MDF Web component – Data browser (extension to the MDF project) – The overall objective of this component was to design, develop and implement a user-friendly public finance web application that is based on the Macroeconomic Data Framework.
  • The MDF browser offers basic functionalities for less demanding users who need to access and get informed about recent and historical budget execution trends.
  • Most existing predefined reports and analytical views have been transferred to this web application.
  • It further offers also the possibility of the creation of ad-hoc analytics. One of the many consolidated data sources is based on data from the SAP financial management information system.
  • Several security levels that define the roles for each user and organisation have also been incorporated.
  • My assignment was to analysis the existing user requirements and the AS-IS situation of the MDF.
  • Further assignment was to communicate and transfers gained business knowledge and expertise from the MDF (budgeting processes, budget reporting needs etc.) to the development team.
  • I was deeply involved in defining technical requirements, design and implementation of the solution as well as creating predefined financial and statistical reports and analysis according to existing end user requirements.
  • I was further involved in the acceptance testing process of the web application.
