Development Phase
Data Extraction:
Design and implement procedures to extract data from different SAP systems (e.g. SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA).
Ensure that data extraction processes can handle SAP modules SD and CO.
Data Transformation:
Develop ETL processes to transform SAP data into a format suitable for the DWH.
Implement data cleansing, normalisation and enrichment processes.
Data Loading:
Design and implement procedures to load transformed data into the DWH on Microsoft SQL Server.
Optimise data loading processes for performance and reliability.
Data Integration
Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple SAP systems.
Implement data reconciliation and validation checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Test and validation phase
Unit testing:
Perform unit testing of ETL processes and data transformations to ensure they meet functional requirements.
System Integration Testing:
Perform system integration testing to ensure that all components of the DWH work together seamlessly.
Performance Testing:
Perform performance testing to ensure that the DWH can handle the expected load and provide timely analysis.
Deployment and Implementation Phase
Production Deployment:
Oversee the deployment of the DWH solution into the production environment.
