  • The activities undertaken in the areas of PPQA-Reviews were driven by technology and held with the participation of engineers, quality engineers and the CoC PPQA

  • This quality provides an objective statement about the quality level of ECU development (HW and SW)
  • PPQA was consolidated under the auspices of the Center of Competence (CoC) with the various departments to a common methodology so that future quality statements of the individual departments within the BMW Group are comparable
  • The activities undertaken in the areas of PPQA-Reviews were driven by technology and held with the participation of engineers, quality engineers and the CoC PPQA
  • PPQA examine systematically the quality of the process areas: project, risk, requirements, configuration, modification, specification and supplier management as well as test and validation (vehicle integration)
  • Using the built process PPQA the process quality protection is standardized throughout the BMW Group
  • The development of supplier quality is demonstrated through SPICE assessments according to ISO / IEC 15504
  • Software development quality is measured by the standard ISO / IEC 12207
  • Vehicle operating systems are developed in the future to AUTOSAR standard
  • Security software is qualified according to the standard IEC 61508
